Date of Birth: 2nd December 1983

Age at departure: 24 years old

Previous rowing experience: University rowing at Royal Veterinary College - we were never very good; first time rowing an ocean!

Background: Brought up around Bath/Bristol area, with a spell in Paris; went to King Edward's School in Bath; then to the Royal Veterinary College; now living in London (and with parents in Bath) and finishing a law degree through the Open University
